Horse Riding Schedule for a Full week.
The following schedule is an approximate example of a maximum riding week, however the amount of time in the saddle can be changed to suit your requirements.
Day 1 Monday: Arrival day. You will be welcomed to the guest-house by the hosts Lidia and Bela. After settling into your room you will be invited to a short welcome meeting with us, where we will discuss the week ahead in the company of a welcome drink. Then you can settle down to a delicious dinner.
Day 2 Tuesday: After lunch Edina will accompany you to the Ranch to meet Laszlo, the Manager and the horses. You will be matched with your horse following an ability check. This should take no longer than 2 hours depending on the size of the group. After this you will go out on your first ride with Laszlo and Edina.
Day 3 Wednesday: There will be two riding sessions today. Following breakfast you will set out on the morning ride. After a few hours break you will ride out again for another riding session at around 3:00 PM.
Day 4 Thursday: Today you will have two riding sessions just as on Wednesday.
Day 5 Friday: You will set out on an all day trail ride in the morning between 9:00 - 10:00 AM. You will spend approximately 6-7 hours in the saddle riding through green forests and cantering on open fields with breathtaking views. There will be a 2 hour lunch break in a restaurant, for you to have something delicious to eat, a well earned rest and food and drink for the horses. This lunch is included in the holiday price except for your drinks. Please note that the all day ride might be moved to another day due to unforseen circumstances such as bad weather.
Day 6 Saturday: The morning is free so you can have a well earned rest after your all day ride and have a riding session in the afternoon.
In the evening you are invited for a BBQ dinner / fairwell party at the rotunda on the ranch in the summer season, weather permitting.
We aim to ride between 1 and 3 hours each half day session . If however you choose not to ride or only wish to ride one of the sessions, this is ok, however the missed session cannot be used later.
