Horse riding and horse riding holidays.
Our full riding week package for the main season consists of 7 nights half board accommodation at the Matyas guest house, 20 hours of riding over 6 days. 1day being an all day ride. Lunch is included on the all day ride. ( All day ride is not offered for complete beginners and options will be discussed to suit you.)
We can also offer self catering packages based at self catering cottages or the cifra stables themselves.
Should you wish to hire a car you can stay at any of our listed accommodation.
The riding schedule for the week usually follows as below.

Day 1 :
Arrival day. You will be welcomed to the guest-house and after settling into your room you will be invited to a short welcome meeting with us, where we will discuss the week ahead.
Day 2 :
Your morning is free for you to explore your surroundings. After lunch Edina will accompany you to the stables to meet Emese, the ride leader and the horses. You will be matched with your horse following an ability check. This should take no longer than half an hour depending on the size of the group. After this you will go out on your first ride with Emese.
Day 3 :
There will be two riding sessions today. Following breakfast you will set out on the morning ride. After a few hours break for lunch you will ride out again for another riding session in the afternoon.
Day 4 :
Today you will have two riding sessions just as on Wednesday.
Day 5 :
You will set out on an all day trail ride in the morning between 9:00 - 10:00 AM. You will spend approximately 6-7 hours in the saddle riding through green forests and cantering on open fields with breathtaking views. There will be a 2 hour lunch break either in a restaurant, or a pot goulash pic nic depending on the route. The horses rest and get food and drink also. This lunch is included in the holiday price. Please note that the all day ride might be moved to another day due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather. The all day ride is only available in the summer season.
Day 6 :
The morning is free so you can have a well earned rest after your all day ride and have a riding session in the afternoon.
Day 7 :
You will ride out once again in the morning for your final session. Your afternoon is free for any final souvenir shopping.
