The Hanga Mountain Guest House

Accommodation for riding at Fenyes Puszta will be provided in the beautiful Hanga Mountain Guest House. The guest-house is situated in a valley at the base of the Matra mountain range. It sits in its own extensive grounds within a clearing in the forest. The Ranch is conveniently situated next door, but far enough away to cause no disturbance.

Breakfast is served between 7:00 - 10:00 AM. Evening meals are served between 18:00 - 22:00. It will be a set menu but with varied dishes each night. Both are arranged around your riding schedule.

Should you choose B&B there are a large number of restaurants in the local area offering a wide choice from traditional Hungarian cuisine to international dishes. Should B&B guests decide to eat in the guest-house in the evening this can be arranged. However we ask that you let us know at breakfast of your requirements.

Tea, coffee and bottled spring water are included in your holiday price. You also get a bottle of wine with your evening meal per couple with 6-7 night packages. Alcoholic and soft drinks can be obtained from the hosts. Avarage prices are 90p for a bottle of beer, £2.50 for a bottle of wine, 80p for a glass of Egri Bikaver (dry red wine) or £1.70 for a glass of Tokaji (sweet white wine). If you wish you could also bring your own drinks into the guest-house. There is a fridge in the upstairs lounge and one in the apartment for your use.

You can choose between B&B or half board (breakfast and evening meal). Cold, packed lunches are also available on request. We ensure there is plenty of time between morning and afternoon rides to enjoy a packed lunch or to pop to a local restaurant for a more formal meal. You will find eating out in Hungary very reasonable on the pocket.

There are 3 twin bedrooms and 1 double bedroom each with en-suite shower room and WC. All rooms have their own balcony with magnificent mountain views and each room has satellite TV with some English language channels.

Extra beds are available for each room to sleep 4. Please state at time of booking if you require this. Tea and coffee making facilities are available.

A self contained apartment with 1 double bedroom adjoining a twin bedroom, a bathroom and separate WC is also available within the guest-house. The price is the same as for two twin rooms.

There is a communal lounge area and a beautifully presented dinning area. Delicious home-cooked food is freshly prepared on the premises by one of your hosts Lidia. We are happy to accommodate all dietary requirements at no extra cost so please let us know at time of booking.

You will be provided with a front door key together with your room key. For your relaxation Swedish massage and Reflexology are available from a qualified masseuse. Beauty treatments including facials, semi permanent makeup and tattoos are also available from a qualified beautician. You can treat yourself to a new hairdo at a local hairdressers at a fraction of the UK price.
