Matyas Guest-house
Bed and breakfast and half board accommodation for riding at the Ciffra stables will be provided in the local Matyas Guest House. The guest-house is situated in a valley at the base of the Matra mountain range, in the village of Paradfurdo. It sits in its own grounds in an area of natural beauty. The Guest house is conveniently situated within walking distance of local restaurants and a bar, but far enough away to cause no disturbance.
There are 10 double bedrooms 8 of which have en-suite shower room and WC. 2 rooms have facilities for preparin g your own snacks in a kitchenette. Each room has satellite TV with a number of English language channels.
Extra beds are available for each room, some of which sleep upto 4. Please state at time of booking if you require this.
Some of the rooms have balconies with forest views. The guest house is child friendly and facilities are availble for young children such as high chairs and cots. Please state at the time of booking if you require these.
There is a communal lounge area with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and forest. Meals are served in a clean countrystyle dining area. We are happy to accommodate all dietary requirements at no extra cost so please let us know at time of booking.
You can choose between B&B or half board (breakfast and evening meal). If you are horse riding we ensure there is plenty of time between morning and afternoon rides for you to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or a drink in a local bar. You will find eating out in Hungary very reasonable on the pocket.
Breakfast is served between 7:00 - 10:00 AM. Evening meals are served between 18:00 - 20:00. It will be a set menu but with varied dishes each night. If you are horse riding these are arranged around your riding schedule.
Should you choose B&B there are a large number of restaurants in the local area offering a wide choice from traditional Hungarian cuisine to international dishes. Should B&B guests decide to eat in the guest-house in the evening this can be arranged. However we ask that you let us know theday before of your requirements.
Tea, coffee and drinking water are included in your holiday price. Alcoholic and soft drinks can be obtained from the guest-house. Average prices are £1 for a bottle of beer, £3.50 for a bottle of wine, £1 for a glass of Egri Bikaver (dry red wine) or £1.70 for a glass of Tokaji (sweet white wine). If you wish you could also bring your own drinks into the guest-house. There is a fridge in each room should you wish to store drinks and snacks in your room.
You will be provided with a front door key together with your room key. For your relaxation Swedish massage and Reflexology are available from a qualified masseuse. Beauty treatments including facials, semi permanent makeup and tattoos are also available from a qualified beautician. You can treat yourself to a new hairdo at a local hairdressers at a fraction of the UK price. Please let us know at the beginning of your holiday if you require any of these services so we can arrange a suitable appointment for you.
